Ryokan in Kyoto

Taken
I only spent two days in Kyoto, Japan, but it's memories linger deeply with me.
Tokyo was huge, bustling, as a tourist book I read said "Unconquerable in a single lifetime". I really enjoyed it, but the old streets and temples of Kyoto were much more my thing.
The food I had here was great, especially the steam buns I love. The temples were all serene and beautifully constructed. Really I just loved everything about it, even the Astro boy statue at the train station.
I've been pulled up randomly by police a couple of times in my life, but I was surprised that the Japanese police pulled me up here.
