Grevillea at Coledale
Grevillea at Coledale
Taken

I took this visiting my Dad at his home in Coledale just south of Sydney.  I literally got out of the car and this flower hit my eye, and I snapped the photo instinctively.

It's so gloriously beautiful, but it wasn't like I walked around the tree looking for a perfect one.  I guess this was the moment that the Grevillea, despite the fact I compulsively misspell it, became one of my favourite flowers.

My father's garden has beautiful birds visiting it, and butterflies, like somehow the beauty of nature is drawn to and multiplies itself.
