I took a couple of photo's on this day because it was my sister's birthday and I wanted to send one to her.

Cathy's father George visited Australia, and after spending Christmas with his sister's and their family's over in Perth, he came to us.  We went from Brisbane all the way to Hobart by train together.  It was really something special for me to spend such quality time with my father-in-law.

Here we stopped into Sydney and my Dad came up on the train to meet us, and we all spent a very pleasant day heading out to Manly on the ferry. 

This one is on the foreshore of Manly.  We'd just had a lovely lunch, walked along the shore and I think Cathy and I had just had a dip in a pool etched out of the rock and filled by the tides with seawater.
