This tree was literally a metre from our front door.

It's not a good thing that this Koala was in it, this isn't the sort of tree they would usually be in.  They will of course climb into a tree like this if they feel threatened or unsafe.  It was of course a thrill to have one so close to us, we only had one other on our block in our large tree much more suited to them, alas on a day we had a truck delivering a big load of soil right under the tree.

This photo reminds me of a strange thing.  This isn't a good photo of a koala, but for some reason the fact that I took it, and it was in our tree, makes it special.
