As a Monty Python fan, it was very pleasing to visit St Iiiiiiives in Cornwall.  As an Australian, it was amazing to see such wide beaches in the UK, where hitherto I had only really seen places like Brighton and the rocky Scottish coast.

It was a short stay full of natural beauty.  I was particularly smitten by the friendly seals who would pop up to greet us.  It was also the place where I vanquished Cat's illusions that she could run faster than me.
