Taken

One of many photos I have of the Brisbane river. I often think of the novel Siddartha when I wander along its banks.

This was a beautiful night where Cat came to my work at the University of Queensland for some reason I no longer recall.  We went for a walk along the far bank of the river from UQ, took these photos and played in a park.

Scenes like this fill me with wonder and hope.  If we could get everyone to see the beauty in nature, we might change the world;

Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future.
