Ben-Ghiat's work has given me a deeper way to see our current political times.  The cast of deplorables that have been voted in as part of the wave of demagoguery in the early 21st century, all have something in common.  This talk outlines the common personality types they have, and the common game plan they follow. It's one of those talks that has stayed with me for a long time after wathing it. I hope you get as much out of it as I did.
