Hypernormalisation

Adam Curtis

Watching this documentary gives you a deep window into the modern world.  The word Hypernormalisation was used to describe Soviet society in the 70s and 80s, how everyone knew a lot of what was on their news media wasn't true, but they didn't have any other reference point for evaluating the news.

Adam is at his deepest and most profound here, though if you really take it in, you will slip into an Overton window that few people have yet caught up with.
