A Force More Powerful

A century of nonviolent conflict

The idea of non-violent struggle is perhaps not a new one, but for many people it remains counterintuitive.  At its basis is the idea that many bad actors don't see themselves as bad; they think they are actually on the side of goodness and light. By forcing them into a conversation about their own identity, by practising non-violence in response to their violence, change, that seems impossible when looking at the balance of power in a situation, can happen.

This is a powerful series, and I recommend the book even more highly.
