Poppet, Poppy, Miss P, Poppetina Peachface, Irene had many names for her but she was a big part of our life for a long time.

Here we are in our little one bedroom flat in Armadale, Melbourne which I really liked and it was one of the best times in my life.

Poppy doesn't seem overly interested in me here, but she could be quite loving.  Like many companion animals she was clearly taken from her mother too early.  People want puppies and kittens after all, and it probably makes them more dependent on us.  She would express this by trying to suckle on things, such as the jumper I am wearing here.

Anyway she lived a long and happy life.
