Magical tree in Kensington Gardens
Hyde Park tree
Taken

I'm not sure if this tree was in Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens, but it was in the northern corner of one them.

It's not at it's best here, I know because I had seen it barely a week earlier on my way somewhere in its full glory, and had come back to photograph it, only to find it had passed its peak.

When I had first noticed it, the blossoms were absolutely vibrant and it sort of held court like a Queen amidst her courtiers.  People were sitting beneath it, basking in it's beauty.  A small child in front of me noticed it just after I did, and left her mother's side to run towards it giggling.

I don't understand the beauty of nature sometimes, but I do know it is somehow tied up in the reasons this life is worth living.
