Animal agriculture is in the top causes of greenhouse gas emissions in the world.  It is so frustrating that the environmental movement has refused to engage with the issue.  This consequential simple thing they could do and encourage which would make a huge difference to animals, climate change, air quality, deforestation, indigenous peoples, the rainforests, water quality, species extinction, I could go on and on.  As the United Nations report Livestock's Long Shadow said, livestock is implicated as one of the top causes of every environmental problem, from local to global.

So we made a bunch of these beautiful signs so that we could get this message across when participating in the climate march.  Of course the denial of the rest of the community about the changes needed to avert climate change rival the denial of the environmental movement of the need to move to a plant based lifestyle.

Alas the signs were lost, there were a bunch more equally beautiful.  We had a lovely day painting them together at ALQ.

Change, dietary and ecologically, is still not coming.  So these are two of the cause Cathy and I have devoted ourselves to.
